ElectriCheck (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides an AI-powered tool to generate visual inspection reports based on user-uploaded images.

We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, where it is stored, and your rights.

2.1 Account Information

• Password (encrypted by Supabase)

2.2 Uploaded Content

When you use ElectriCheck, we may collect:

• Photos you upload for analysis
• Notes or text you enter
• AI-generated analysis output

Uploaded photos may incidentally contain personal information (such as labels, names or addresses). You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to upload such material.

2.3 Technical Data

We automatically collect technical information such as:

• Device and browser information
• IP address
• Usage logs
• Error logs

2.4 Communication Data

If you contact us, we may store your message and email address to provide support and keep a record of communication.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate the ElectriCheck app
• Perform AI visual analysis via third-party providers
• Generate visual inspection reports
• Improve performance, accuracy and user experience
• Contact you with updates or support responses
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your images to train AI models.

4. Where Your Data Is Stored

Your data may be stored or processed in Australia or overseas.

4.1 Supabase (Database & Storage)

• User authentication
• Report storage
• Optional image storage

4.2 Vercel (Hosting)

Our application runs on Vercel’s infrastructure. No long-term storage of personal data occurs on Vercel.

4.3 Google Gemini API

Images are processed transiently to generate report content. Google does not use your images for model training according to their applicable policies.

4.4 Email Services

Emails you receive may be processed by MailerSend or other email providers.

5. Data Retention

• Uploaded images: kept until you delete them
• Generated reports: kept until you delete them
• Account data: kept until you request deletion
• Logs: purged per provider retention policies

6. Disclosure

We only share data with:

• Cloud service providers
• Payment processors (when activated)
• Regulators or authorities when legally required

7. International Transfers

Your information may be transferred outside Australia. All providers are required to meet strong privacy and security standards.

8. Your Rights

You may request:

• Access to your personal information

• Deletion of your account and data
